It’s Taylor Swift’s world, and we’re just living in it. The pop star continued to dominate the MTV Video Music Awards nominations this year as well. She received 10 nominations, including the coveted Video of the Year. She is followed by her Fortnite collaborator Post Malone, who got 9 nominations. Taylor can make history
Taylor Swift is unlikely to attend the VMAs in New York on September 10 as she will be on a 3-month break from her ongoing Eras Tour. If she wins the Video of the Year award, she will become the artist with the most wins (5), and the first to win the award for three consecutive years. She has received the honor the last two years for Anti-Hero and All Too Well: The Short Film respectively. Earlier, she won the honor in 2015 for Bad Blood and in 2019 for You Need to Calm Down.
