Mumbai Anti-Narcotics Cell summons Ori in Rs 252 crore drug case

Mumbai: Social media influencer Ori has been summoned by Mumbai’s Anti-Nai, asking him to appear at the Ghatkopar unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell at 10:00 am on Thursday. According to reports, he will be interrogated regarding the drug case.

This is the second time the social media influencer has been embroiled in a drug-related controversy. Earlier, Ori and seven others were booked by Jammu and Kashmir Police for consuming liquor at a hotel in Katra near Vaishno Devi temple.

The incident was in violation of local laws that promulgate the cell in connection with the Rs 252 crore drug case.

The social media sensation, who belongs to the elite class of Mumbai, prohibits consumption of alcohol and non-vegetarian food in Katra. FIR lodged for violating rules and hurting religious sentiments, police took a strong stand against such acts.
