Looking at his career, Job says that his music comes from his experiences. A couple of evergreen ‘Padyathra’, a couple with Harish Shivaramakrishnan, was inspired by his friend’s visit to the Himalayas; ‘Eltavo’ reflected his state of mind at one time; ‘Mulla’ was about his childhood and relationships; ‘Kalam’ was a tribute to an elderly family member; ‘Bhaiem’ was a message to be humble and learn more about nature.
The “escape” came out of a fear of the scenario when someone may have to get out of the house to settle elsewhere. I am afraid of the situation where I can be forced to go out of Kerala.
