Director Bhaskar Maurya’s Telugu film watching MuthayyaNow streaming on the ETV win, seems to have an excuse of urban life and settled in an undeclared rural setting, surrounded by sociable characters. The story focuses on a 70-year-old man from a village in Telangana who dreams of becoming a film actor and looking at himself on the big screen-once in his lifetime. Age cannot be in his favor, but his enthusiasm for life is less.

Humor weaves slowly through the story. In an early scene, two men climb a water tank to unveil a banner. Any comment, in Telangana dialect, “Yama Pekindu?” (What did he achieve?). We came to know soon. In the heart of the story, starring Muthaya (Sudhakar Reddy ( BalgamFame), who owns a minor plot of land that sees open areas and distant hills. Each evening, he retreats from his simple residence on the ground, shares a drink or two with his very younger friend Malli (Arun Kumar), who runs a bicycle repair shop in the village.

Birds Chirp, Karthik Rodriguez’s soil score plays gently in the background, and cinematographer Diwakar Mani grabbed the beauty of the Hemlet without ornate. The story slowly revealed the ordinance of Mutthaya’s daily life-a stressful relationship with a son with a breathed pressurist, a kind daughter-in-law, and a cheerful grandson’s burden.

At an age when most of the villagers are satisfied to live a quiet life, Muthaya is shaken by his long -held dream of becoming an actor. Posters of film stars surround their mirror, and he often reminds about his unsuccessful efforts in Madras.

In a memorable scene, Muthaya mourned the position of modern cinema, yet emphasized watching new films to stay up to date with contemporary acting styles. These are small, contemplative moments – more than the grand story arcs – which makes Muthaya a gender in the mind.

The film Malli’s Love Story, Village Drama Troops and Short Films and Instagram Reels touches the dubbing of the younger generation. Director Bhaskar Maurya allows the story to breathe, takes his time with untoward pacing that can test the impatient viewer, especially in the first half. But this is a very rhythm that allows the characters to settle in your heart.

As the plot glows slowly, with life gives Muthaya the last chance to fulfill his dream, the film becomes a fight between Akanksha and resignation. Silver haired, Panchay Muthaya can remain just a local stage star, especially when opportunists and financial obstacles are faced. Still you cannot help him, but root for him.

Most of the soul of the film lies in its performance. Sudhakar Reddy and Arun Kumar, supported by a well -cast dress (many of whom from the region), anchor the story with authenticity. Their unheard appearance is originally mixed in rural clothes which is to portray the film.

The final sequence pays a heartfelt tribute to the communal bliss of cinema, in a way manifests both unexpected and deeply rewarded.

Under just two hours, Muthayya A tender, untoward story that reminds us that there is a rich, ground world beyond the mainstream spectacle Telugu cinema.
