On Saturday, the former president shared a list of his favorite movies, books and music as a recommendation for his followers as well as art lovers around the world.

Some other films in his list are – Denis Villeneuve’s dune section 2, Shawn Baker’s AnoraEdward Berger’s conclaveMalcolm Washington’s piano Lessons, among others.

Its triumphant journey began earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival. Not only did it win the Grand Prix award, it was also the first Indian film in 30 years to be screened in the main competition section of the prestigious film festival. The last Indian film to make it to the competition section was Shaji N Karun’s Swaham In 1994.
The film also won the Best International at the New York Film Critics Circle and the Best International Feature trophy at the prestigious Gotham Awards 2024.
It recently received two Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards nominations.
Payal recently received the Spirit of Cinema Award at the 29th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK).
For the uneducated, We imagine everything as light It tells the story of Prabha, a troubled nurse who receives an unexpected gift from her estranged husband, and Anu, her young roommate who seeks intimacy with her lover.
They go on a trip to a seaside town which helps them come to terms with their desires and feelings.
An official Indo-French co-production between Petit Chaos (France) and Chalk & Cheese & Another Birth (India), the film stars Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha and Hridhu Haroon, all from Kerala.
