Sonu Sood is super excited about his directorial debut FatehOn Saturday, Sonu Sood shared a great update about the project on Instagram. He revealed that veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has also joined the film. FatehIn a series of pictures shared on Instagram, Sonu Sood and Naseeruddin Shah are seen in a serious discussion. In his caption, the actor wrote, “Welcome on board, Naseer Sir. Directing someone I have been a lifelong fan of was very special. You would be proud Fateh Sir.” Jacqueline Fernandez is also a part of the film. Reacting to the post, Neha Dhupia wrote, “Wow,” and shared a raising hand emoji. FatehProducer Ajay Dharma shared a black heart, thumbs up and evil eye emoji. Actor Utkarsh Gupta posted a red heart emoji. Actor Viral Patel shared a raising hand emoji.
In March 2023, Jacqueline Fernandez shared some pictures from Amritsar, where she was shooting FatehIn one photo, he is dressed in the character’s attire. He wrote in the caption, “Thank you Amritsar.”

Apart from directing and acting FatehSonu Sood has also been involved in the writing process. Earlier, the actor had told the news agency ANI“I have been quite fortunate so far, I have got opportunities to play roles in different languages. Being around films and working on all these projects, I have learnt a few things here and there. This is the first time I am working on a story as well.”
Sonu Sood further added, “I have always loved being involved in my films, but this was the first time I was officially involved in the writing process. It was quite exciting. The project is progressing at a good pace. We are currently getting locations, but it will be shot mostly in Mumbai.”
