Hyderabad: It’s official! The makers of director Gopichand Malineni’s film #NBK111, starring actor Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, welcomed actress Nayanthara to the film’s unit on Tuesday.
On Nayanthara’s birthday on Tuesday, director Gopichand Malineni took to his X timeline to make the announcement. He wrote, “Here she comes… welcoming the one and only queen #Nayanthara garu to the world of #NBK111. Honored to have her strength and grace in our story. Wishing you a wonderful birthday. Vriddhi Cinemas, the production house producing the film, wrote, “Queen of peace of the seas and enduring the fury of storms, #Nayanthara enters the kingdom of #NBK111. Happy Birthday from the team. The film, which is being tentatively titled #NBK111, was officially announced on the star’s birthday earlier this year. Sources say the historical epic film will be officially launched in November this year. It is worth noting that this film was originally scheduled to be launched in October. However, there has been a slight delay and the puja celebrations have now been extended to November.
The film marks Balakrishna’s second collaboration with blockbuster producer Gopichand Malineni after his sensational hit ‘Veera Simha Reddy’. Backed by producer Venkat Sathish Kilaru, who is currently producing the ambitious pan-India project ‘Peddi’, #NBK111 will be released on a grand scale under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, promising a high budget cinematic spectacle.
Sources close to the film’s unit say that the team was identifying beautiful locations in Rajasthan to shoot the film.

Gopichand Malineni, known for delivering commercial blockbusters, will, say sources, craft a monumental tale that will feature Nandamuri Balakrishna in a never-before-seen avatar. Set against a rich historical backdrop, the film promises a powerful blend of intensity, emotion and action, complemented by stunning visuals and a larger-than-life story.
The project, currently in the final stages of pre-production, is being built around a script that insiders describe as bold, unique and high impact, a perfect fit for Balakrishna’s screen presence.
