It is no secret that Kapil Sharma has the unique ability to make anyone laugh. comedian who hosts The Great Indian Kapil Show On Netflix, was awarded the Global Entertainer of the Year Award at the NDTV Indian of the Year Awards 2024. After accepting the award, a question-and-answer session was held with the audience. During the conversation, a fan of Kapil asked him to name his favorite Bollywood star with whom he likes to host events.
To this Kapil Sharma replied, “I will take the name of one, it would not be appropriate. There are so many people I really enjoy hosting with. These are those stars, when these people come, my weight reduces a little. Akshay Kumar is sir, he is like my elder brother, I love him very much, Shahrukh (Khan) is my brother. [If I take one name, it would not be fair. There are many people with whom I enjoy hosting a lot. These are the stars, and when they come, my burden lightens a bit. Akshay Kumar is like an older brother to me, he shows a lot of love, and then there’s Shah Rukh (Khan) brother.]
Kapil Sharma further said, “If you asked suddenly, then the list is very long but it is fun with each one. Each one has its own harmony and different things happen together. But yes, these two people (Akshay Kumar and Shahrukh Khan) are such that if they come, I think they will take over the show. [Honestly, the list is very long, and it is fun with everyone. Each person has their own personality, and every conversation is unique. But yes, these two are the ones that make me feel like they can handle the show when they are around.],
In the same event, Kapil Sharma also talked about people’s madness towards social media. The comedian said, “We are too immersed in social media. We want to know what America has said to Ukraine but we have no information whether our father has fallen in the bathroom next door or not.
Kapil Sharma further said, “As much as we are giving opportunity to others by going on social media. That seems to me to be as much work as we could do. This is my personal experience. I have started doing this in the last few months. I work a lot on social media. There are many reasons. There are major circumstances in everyone’s life but ham. But if anyone feels low then wake up every morning and every day is a new day. [By spending a lot of time on social media, we are giving people the opportunity to enter into our world. I think we should minimise the use of social networking sites. I have been practising this for the last few months. I have restricted my time on the platforms. I know there can be a lot of reasons for a person to spend time on social media. We all don’t have a similar setting and there are circumstances that change the course of things. But yes, don’t forget every day calls for a fresh start.],
