On the occasion of the anniversary of Rishi Kapoor’s fifth death, Neetu Kapoor took a moment to remember the lively spirit of her husband and veteran actor and love for life.
Sharing a heartfelt tribute on social media, he considered how Rishi Kapoor embraced every moment with energy, passion and a contagious enthusiasm, who left a permanent impression on all of him around him. On Wednesday, the actress took her Instagram stories and posted a picture of Rishi Kapoor smiling. The clear image showed him a beverage cooking a cheerful selfie.
“Miss You, Kapoor,” Neetu wrote in the caption. In one of the paintings, Rishi is seen posing with Raj Bansal, while another heartbreaking image has introduced him with his daughter, granddaughter and other family members.
A long time ago, Neetu Kapoor posted an indifferent throbac from her 1979 engagement, where the ‘Jug Jug Jeeo’ actress was seen smiling with happiness as she stood next to Rishi Kapoor. He captioned the post, “This day was engaged in 1979 (two heart emoji); time flies.”
For Anward, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor first crossed the path on the set of “Zehela Human” in 1970, although their initial conversation was not very smooth. However, later a new connection developed between them, which gradually turned into a meaningful bond. Allegedly, her relationship really deepened during the filming of “Kabi Kabi” in 1976, eventually developed in love.
The couple tied the knot on January 22, 1980 and later blessed with two children – Ridhima Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor.
Neetu and Rishi Kapoor were the most nourished on-screen pairs of their era, enticing the audience with a string of successful films in the 1970s and 1980s. His memorable performance in classics such as’ Amar Akbar Anthony, “Khel Khel Meen,” Rafu Chakkar, “Kabi Kabi,” Besharam, “and many others strengthened their position as a prestigious pair in Hindi cinema.
Rishi Kapoor died on April 30, 2020 at the age of 67, after a two -year fight with cancer at the age of 67.
