Neil Nitin Mukesh on preparation for ‘Junoon’: ‘Music Run in My Blood’

Streaming giant Jio Hotstar is ready to premiere of music play series Is passion! Dream Courage. Dominate On his stage on 16 May. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the series includes Jacqueline Fernandez and Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead.

Centered around the subjects of passion, personality and friendship, the series revolves around a music competition with two staunch rival – misfits and supersonics – collide. Neil plays the role of Gagan, which according to a press release by the manufacturers, “serves as the soul of supersonics and symbolizes music, changes the rhythm, spirit and raw intensity.”

Speaking about the role preparation for the role, Neil, son of playback singer Nitin Mukesh and grandson of late veteran singer Mukesh, said, “Sangeet walks in my blood. When I was younger, I got the privilege of training under my grandfather’s Guruji. I had never left me for music, when I was working immediately. A character was so closely combined when I am so closely.

Neil said he worked closely with director Abhishek to develop his emotional arc with Gagan’s style. He said, “I also inspired many artists including my father, Nitin Mukesh and other mythological singers,” he said.

Interestingly, ‘Hai Junoon’ was the title of a song in Neel’s 2009 film, New yorkCo-conquest of John Abraham, Katrina Kaif and Irfan Khan.
