Mumbai: Actors Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kirti Kulhari talked about their upcoming film ‘Hisab Barabar’, starring actor R Madhavan in the lead role.
Speaking with ANI, Neil explained why he decided to take up the project, “It was a very conscious decision… I was getting a lot of work during Covid-19, but I was not interested in them Because I was not satisfied, during that time the producer of the film, Sharad Patel came up with this film, ‘Hisab Barabar’, I got a chance to meet Ashwini Dheer, who is the writer and director of the film, wrote the film and the real hero is Ashwini sir and the script. This is the story of a common man. Trying to fight the system and they presented it in a very comedic way which I really liked, so it gives a very strong message and I wanted to be a part of this film.”

‘Hisaab Barabar’ directed by Ashwini Dheer is a story about corruption and systemic injustice. It follows the journey of Radhey Mohan Sharma (played by Madhavan), a dedicated railway ticket checker who discovers a small disturbance in his bank account.
What seems to be a small issue soon leads him into a deeper investigation, which uncovers a huge financial scam perpetrated by a corrupt banker Mickey Mehta, played by Neil Nitin Mukesh. As Radhey fights against financial fraud and systemic corruption, the film also explores her personal life, focusing on how unlike financial balance sheets, relationships cannot always be reconciled.
Talking about his character, Neil said, “I am playing the character of Mickey Mehta, who is a banker and a scammer. But you will find honesty in his character too. I have played the role of an antagonist before but in this character There was a truth.” I liked this thing.”
Kirti, who is playing an important role in the film, also talked about her role and said, “I am playing the role of a policeman. It is a Delhi story and when the film starts you will see me in trains and Will see Madhavan’s character Radhe Mohan.” We start a conversation. When these scams happen, the matter comes to me. So although my and Radhe Mohan’s characters were connecting personally and professionally, my on-screen personality is such that I keep my professional and personal life separate. It’s a very strong character who is also sensitive.”

The film is set to premiere on January 24 on ZEE5. The film will be available to stream in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
