Mumbai: The Netflix India slate of 2026 was filled with thrillers, light-hearted comedies and the return of many awaited sequels. From Bhuvan Bham’s Dhindora 2 to Telugu series ‘Super Subbu’, take a look at some of the upcoming shows on Netflix this year.
The much-awaited Bhuvan Ki Dhindora has found a new platform for its sequel, Netflix. The makers released the first look of the series on Tuesday.
In the video, Bhuvan Bham is seen sitting in an expensive restaurant with his iconic character Titu Mama, waiting for the Netflix event.
Bhuvan Bham shared the teaser on his Instagram handle.
“India’s biggest digital creator Bhuvan Bam returns with his crazy family, and Titu Mama takes them all into a world of pride, panic, and bad planning. Will he emerge as a hero, or should you temper your expectations?”. read the series’ logline, quoted in a press note from Netflix.
The team of Dhindora 2 shares, “With Dhindora Season 2, we are returning to a world that audiences so lovingly embraced in its first chapter. What started as a deeply relatable, character-driven comedy on YouTube has grown into a bigger, more layered story while staying true to the humor, heart and chaos that define the Dhindora universe. Bringing the series to Netflix allows us to expand on these characters and their journey while maintaining cultural specificity.” can be introduced to an even wider audience.” Quoted in a press note, “the storytelling voice that made the show resonate so strongly is something we’re excited for both longtime fans and new viewers to experience in this next chapter.”
Netflix slate 2026 also expanded into the South entertainment industry with its first Telugu series ‘Happy Subbu’.
The Sandeep Kishan-starrer comedy series ‘Super Subbu’ narrates the actor’s wild journey to teach sex education in a remote and rural village to escape his father’s atrocities. The series is directed by Mallik Ram.
Read the show’s synopsis, “A completely unlucky teacher, desperate to escape her father’s tyranny, gets stuck teaching sex education in a remote and deserted village! The hilarious twist? She’s a virgin herself! Thus begins a wild journey where love, laughter and awkward moments collide.”

The OTT platform has also unveiled the teaser of Alakh Pandey, co-founder of Physicswala, one of India’s most profitable ed-tech companies. The name of this series is ‘Hello Bachon’.
The show’s synopsis reads, “The heart-warming story of a humble physics teacher who inspired millions of students across India fighting their circumstances to achieve their dream of becoming doctors or engineers. Based on the true story of Physics Valhalla, Hello Bachchan is an uplifting story of how a lone teacher standing against the system can build a nation with his students.”
The series stars Vineet Kumar Singh in the lead role and is directed by Abhishek Yadav. Watch the teaser here.
Next up in the Netflix India slate is a heart-warming neighborhood comedy titled ‘Chumbak’. The multi-starrer comedy stars Neena Gupta, Deven Bhojani, Amyra Dastur, Ananth V Joshi, Sumeet Vyas, Mansi Parekh, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah, Sumeet Raghavan and Sandeepa Dhar.
In the teaser released by Netflix on Tuesday, the lead actors were seen fighting among themselves for the perfect portrait photo.
“In a world where neighbors have become polite acquaintances, this series revives the old-world charm of the neighbourhood. With a young writer and an eccentric family support group, we take a hilarious look at the lives of people who laugh, eat, drink, have fun, shed tears and share their lives together as neighbors living in an old row-house neighborhood in Mumbai.
