Player 333 in Squid Game Season 2 Myung-gi is played by Yim Si-wan

One netizen wrote, “I can’t believe that season 2 ended in such a horrible way!!!!!! I watched the entire season just to make me wait for the next season…should have just made this season a few more episodes longer and finished the series. Others echoed the same sentiment, describing season 2 as “half a season” and advising fellow fans to wait until season 3. “Just hold yourself until s3 comes out. I don’t really feel the excitement that I felt from s1. The first two episodes are good, but I left out a lot of scenes. It feels like they made this season unnecessary “Don’t bother until season 3 comes out,” one viewer quipped. “The final episode doesn’t feel like the finale.”

Critics also pointed to pacing issues, with complaints about filler scenes and a lack of the emotional grip that made the first season so compelling. “It seems like they wanted more games because of the popularity of those video game recreations. What you probably expected from s2 is actually what the last 30 minutes of the season will be like,” said another disappointed fan. Another opinion was, “I think this is just a teaser for season 3… until the last season is released, season 2 will be a complete waste.”

Season 2 Summary
