Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary are expecting their first child. The couple had announced their pregnancy in June this year. Almost two months after announcing their pregnancy, the couple hosted a baby shower ceremony in Mumbai on Monday. The ceremony was attended by their close friends and family members. Recently, Yuvika shared several pictures from the baby shower. While Prince wore a blue shirt with white pants, Yuvika wore a white dress. Their pet dog was also present at the venue. Those present included Kishwer Merchant, Suyyash Rai, Raftaar, Vishal Aditya Singh, Mahhi Vij, Aryaman Seth and Nisha Rawal.
Her caption read, “Every day I feel is a blessing from God. And I consider it a new beginning. Yes, everything is beautiful. Grateful, grateful and thankful every second, every minute. Thank you to everyone who blessed us. Thank you for your blessings. We are counting the days till we meet our sweet bundle of joy.”
Announcing the happy news in June, Prince shared a photo on social media of a toy car placed next to his own red car. The caption read, “Hi everyone, I’m finding it hard to express my feelings right now because I’m incredibly happy, yet nervous, and at the same time so grateful to God and my parents. I’m so excited because our sweet baby is coming very soon. From now on, everything will revolve around our baby.”
Prince Narula said, “Yuvika, you will now be second to my parents as our lives are about to take centre stage. I have worked really hard for this moment, and whenever I become a father, I want everything to be perfect for our baby, as every parent wants. These were my dreams too, just like my parents raised and moulded me into a good human being with a loving heart. My goal too is to make our baby a good human being from day one, continuing the journey we have experienced together since we first found out that we were pregnant.”
“Every moment, from the joyous scans to the tears and laughter at home, we have cherished. Thank you God for giving us such joys. Baby, you have given me the greatest gift of my life, and with this gift, our parents will experience their happiness once again. I can’t wait for Dadi, Dada, Nani and Dadaji to see how they will help raise you. They will teach you English, Punjabi and Hindi. Baby, I love you, and remember, in a few days you will be my number 2,” he concluded.
For those who don’t know, their pregnancy rumours started when Prince Narula appeared on Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast where he hinted at their imminent parenthood.
During the conversation, Bharti jokingly asked Prince Narula when she could see him and Yuvika becoming parents. To this, Prince replied, “Soon.” Since then, rumours of their pregnancy have been doing the rounds. However, in April this year, the couple had dismissed the rumours.
Explaining why it took them so long, Prince revealed that they had been planning for a baby for a long time, but decided to wait until they settled in their home in Mumbai. He said, “Mujhe bachcha jab karna tha jab Mumbai me mera ghar ho. Speed me bhaagna na ho, har chuch ke liye time ho. (I wanted to have a baby when I had my own house in Mumbai. I didn’t want to rush, I needed time for everything.)
