Mumbai: The makers of Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer ‘Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha’ have announced the new release date on their social media handles.
A few days ago, the initial release date was postponed after distributors and exhibitors requested the makers. This decision was confirmed by the production house. Now, they have finally revealed the official release date.
Ajay shared the new information for his fans on Instagram. He wrote, “The wait will be over on 2nd August! #AuronMeinKahanDumTha #AMKDTonAug2.”

Recently, the makers informed that they have decided to postpone the release of the film “on the request of the exhibitors and distribution fraternity”.
A post on the production company’s official Instagram account read, “At the request of dear friends, exhibitors and the distribution fraternity, we have collectively decided to change the release date of our film ‘Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha’. The new release date will be announced soon.”
The makers recently released the trailer, which began with Ajay Devgn’s voice, who is confident that no one can separate him from the love of his life (Tabu). However, destiny had other plans. The video then showed scenes of Ajay sitting in jail. The trailer saw Shantanu Maheshwari playing the role of young Ajay Devgn, who romances the character of younger Tabu (played by Saiee Manjrekar).
Jimmy Shergill is also a part of the film. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film promises to be a unique musical love story with an epic romantic drama spanning a period of 20 years between 2002 to 2023.
The original soundtrack of the film is composed by Oscar-winning composer MM Kreem. Lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir. NH Studios Presents, A Friday Filmworks Production, ‘Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha’ is produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak (Panorama Studios), Sangeeta Ahir and Shital Bhatia.
The film will be released in theatres on 2 August 2024.
