Colin Farrell in ‘The Penguin’
A menacing Colin Farrell makes his way into the Gotham underworld in a new trailer the PenguinAn eight-episode limited series focusing on a DC supervillain.
Farrell played Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin in Matt Reeves’ film The Man. Batman (2022), starring Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader.

The trailer shows Oswald exchanging the American dream for a life of swindle and crime. He is seen dumping corpses in the filthy streets of Gotham and, in one scene, shooting an Uzi. The former chief lieutenant of deceased crime lord Carmine Falcone, Oswald sets out on his own to take over Gotham’s crime world.
The trailer also features Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone/Hangman, Falcone’s mentally ill daughter who is released from Arkham Asylum. Sofia becomes a major threat to Oswald’s dominance. Rhenzy Feliz appears in the trailer as a teenager who becomes Cobblepot’s driver and friend.
The trailer premiered at San Diego Comic-Con in Hall F. Reeves and several cast members attended the panel, while Farrell joined in via Zoom from Macau.
the Penguin Will stream on Max from September 19.
