New Year 2026: Virat Kohli’s first post takes the internet by storm as he shares dreamy Dubai moment with Anushka Sharma

Dubai: Star cricketer Virat Kohli’s first post of 2026 has taken the internet by storm as he shared a stunning picture with his girlfriend Anushka Sharma from their New Year celebrations in Dubai, UAE.

Both the husband and wife were well dressed, Virat was wearing a dark blue suit and Anushka was wearing a beautiful black dress.

As soon as Virat posted the picture, fans took to the comments section to shower their love on the couple.

Virat and Anushka’s family also joined them Members for New Year celebrations. Virat’s brother Vikas Kohli also shared some pictures from last night’s party.


In one of the pictures, Virat can be seen posing with his father-in-law, brother and brother-in-law.

Vikas captioned the post, “The Boys.”

In another post the entire family posed together. Anushka’s mother and Virat’s sister Bhavana and sister-in-law Chetna were also present. In this fam-jam picture you can also see Virat’s niece and nephews.

On New Year’s Eve, he uploaded a beautiful picture with Anushka and wrote, “Stepping into 2026 with the light of my life, @anushkasharma.”

In the picture, Virat and Anushka were captured sharing warm smiles, with their faces painted playfully. Half of her face was painted with a Spider-Man design, while Anushka had a beautiful butterfly painted around her eye.


Meanwhile, on the work front, Virat has scored 208 runs at an average of 104.00 and a strike rate of 128 in two matches so far in the recent Vijay Hazare Trophy, which includes 131 off 101 balls against Andhra Pradesh and a quickfire 77 off 61 balls against Gujarat. Virat’s return to the VHT after 15 years has also helped him complete a few milestones, reaching the 1,000-run mark in the tournament’s history as well as becoming the second Indian after Sachin Tendulkar and the fastest batsman to reach the 16,000-run mark in List A cricket.

Virat, who had a poor start with two consecutive zeroes against Australia in November, now looks to be making a winning comeback in the 50-over format. Starting with an unbeaten 74* in the Sydney ODI, Virat has scored 584 runs at an average of 146.00 in six innings for India/Delhi, including three centuries and three fifties.

Now all eyes are on what Virat will wear in the ODI colors when India begin the three-match ODI series against New Zealand from January 11.
