K-pop group Newseens, composed of Minzy, Hanni, Daniel, Herin, and Haein, have wowed fans again with their new commercial. This time, they are front and center in an ad for SK Telecom, showing off their unmatched style and charisma. Known for their fashion-forward image and tech-savvy appeal, Newseens have been modeling for Apple for quite some time now. Newseen’s recent activities have been surrounded by controversy, especially as they push for the return of former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. The ongoing dispute between the label and its subsidiary has sparked public debate, and amid this chaos, fans have noticed a strange detail in a recent Apple promotion.

During a demonstration of the new AirPods on the homepage, the Bluetooth connection showed this: “Hee Soo’s AirPods. The name is synonymous with Newsenes’ fan group, Bunnies, as it references the character Ban Hee Soo from the group’s music video of Ditto. The character is widely recognized as a representation of the Bunnies. Additionally, the AirPods Max were labeled ‘Natural’s AirPods Max’ in Korean, which many fans interpreted as a reference to Newsenes’ song ‘Supernatural’.

BTS Jungkook supports Newseens

Despite the ongoing dispute between the HYBE labels and BTS mentors Bang Si Hyuk and Min Hee Jin, Jungkook recently made a public statement in support of the artists. On September 14, the Golden crooner shared two consecutive posts on his Instagram account of his dog Bam, appearing to support the members of Newseen.
