Newseen members break silence on conflict
Newsies’ Minzy spoke about the ongoing conflict between HYBE and Min Hye Jin on Monday, September 2 (KST). She said, “It’s been almost a week since I wanted to share with you all the things that have been happening, but I couldn’t do it. I wanted to tell the many bunnies who came to see and comfort us that we were okay and to comfort them in return, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it this time.”
She also expressed her disappointment over the whole drama. She said, “I’m so sorry that we are going through unnecessary difficulties when we could have just spent our time sharing good stories. I feel so frustrated that I can’t solve anything. I don’t know how long these anxious days will last, and I know it might be selfish to say so, but I really hope that our bunny and I don’t have to go through any more tough times.”
Daniel also expressed his thoughts on the matter, saying, “To be honest, it’s been very difficult since CEO Min Hye Jin was removed, and there’s been a lot going on in my mind. I was in a state of shock for a while and felt very anxious.”
Hanni, another prominent member of the K-pop group, shared a song to express her feelings about struggle. Before presenting the song, she said, “I started making this song in April or May of this year. At that time, the bunnies, the members, the CEO and I were all struggling, and I wanted to console everyone and heal their wounds. A few weeks ago, I sent it to the CEO from afar to console him,” as reported by All Kpop.

The conflict between HYBE and Min Hee Jin
The dispute began in April this year when HYBE accused ADOR’s CEO of attempting to usurp the company’s management rights. The agency filed a breach of duty lawsuit against Min Hee Jin, but she later called the allegations ‘groundless’.
Another set of allegations surfaced that Min tried to hide a sexual harassment incident which resulted in his removal as CEO and being replaced by Kim Joo Young. Min was supposed to stay on as an in-house director and continue producing for Newsines, however, he disputed the terms of his contract.
Additionally, director Shin Woo Seok announced that he could no longer work with ADOR, as he claimed the company wanted to remove all videos related to Newseen, which ADOR clarified was only to remove unauthorized content.
