This collection of three films begins with the story of Inayat (Prasanna V Shetty), who stutters to sell his company’s product, but does not miss the opportunity to toss an overturned shoe or slipper. For him, leaving his shoes on like that is almost a sin, thanks to his obsessive-compulsive disorder.

A mild-looking salesman on the outside, Inayat is much more than what you see at first, as the film slowly exposes his evil side that helps him make quick money. His psychological condition is an underlying factor that forces Inayat to stick to certain aspects of his life, even if it involves huge risks.

The film then focuses on the story of Rohit (Madhusudan Govind), who is a kleptomaniac. We see drastic changes in the background in the two stories. From the middle class life of Inayat, who works hard bread, clothes, And butter, We witness the world of Rohit, who steals for fun and also helps his father in his luxurious business. From cramped rooms in a small house, the attention turns to a cozy mansion with gorgeous spaces.

Inayat’s story reflects the struggle of every middle-class person with the financial burden in a big city. Nimma Vastugalige Neeve Jawabdararu, Shot mostly on real locations, A sharp reflection of the ever-evolving Bengaluru.

After taking us to the streets of the city, cinematographer Harsh Kumar Gowda shows us the beautiful and vibrant side of Bengaluru in the second story, where Rohit and Ratna bond over ‘similar interests’. Playing a young couple in the relationship drama, Apoorva Bhardwaj and Madhusudan Govind surrender to the crazy moments of the story to create sizzling chemistry. The light-hearted tone of the film is like a happy holiday.

From one side, Nimma Vastugagalige Neeve Jawabdarru This is a good testament to director Keshav Murthy’s ability to work with different genres. The changing mood of the anthology is complimented by Prateek Satheek’s refreshing score, which transforms serious themes into something fun and interesting.

The third film is full of intense drama, which is further enhanced by the thoughtful presence of Dilip Raj and Shilpa Manjunath. The film leaves you guessing about its next move. Although a bit long, the director slowly draws you into the story. This short film gives a delicious twist to its core theme of stealing and losing things. How do you deal with lost trust? It was refreshing to see the director’s non-critical attitude towards his flawed characters. In Kannada cinema, we have been conditioned to watch films that take moral decisions. Nimma Vastugalige Neewe Jawabdarru There is a much needed change in that aspect. Why do you need to make an ending point when you can keep us engaged from beginning to end and leave us wondering?

Nimma Vasthagalige Neeve Javabadararu will release on screens on January 10, 2025.
