Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor’s mother, Nirmal Surinder Kapoor, died on Friday (May 2). She was 90 years old. He breathed his last at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
On Saturday, the members of the camphor clan gathered with their industry colleagues, Anil Kapoor’s Juhu to pay his funeral at Juhu Niwas.
Sonam Kapoor and his cousin, actor Arjun Kapoor, reached the venue together. In a clip posted on Instagram, Sonam appears to be out of place in her car.

The film’s veteran wrote, “On May 2, 2025, he died peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family. She lived a full and joyful life, left behind four dedicated children, loving daughters, a careful son-in-law, eleven grandchildren, a lifetime of four-grandson, four great-grandchildren, and treasurer.”
Nirmal Surinder Kapoor was the wife of late filmmaker Surinder Kapoor. They were married in 1955.
