Multiple award-winning actress Nithya Menen has added another feather to her crown, and this is undoubtedly her biggest achievement so far. The actress, who has worked in all the South Indian film industries as well as Bollywood and English films, recently won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in ‘Dilwale’. It is actually a choice. Can I do other roles? Of course, I can. But I don’t want to do that,” says Nithya, who adds that “doing happy roles makes her happy.”

Nitya laughs when asked about her celebratory plans. “I don’t know if it’s good or bad that I don’t celebrate anything. I will probably treat myself to a movie (Laughs) I’m in the middle of developing my next film and I’m totally immersed in the moment. You have to work to get the awards, right?”
