Sonu Nigam has denied reports of throwing stones at his concert during his performance at Delhi Technological University (DTU) Engifest 2025. The event was held on Sunday. Now, Sonu Nigam shared a note on Instagram, which actually happened, highlighting it.
Sonu Nigam revealed that no stone or bottles were thrown on the stage. Only one VAPE was thrown, killing the chest of his band member. The singer said that he also issued strict warnings to all the college students present in the concert. After that, only a “puki hairband” was thrown at it, the singer said comedy.
In his caption, Sonu Nigam wrote, “There was nothing like bouncing stones or bottles mentioned in some media. DTU. A stage was thrown by someone, who used to kill Subhankar’s chest, and when I was informed about it.”
He said, “I stopped the show and requested and reminded the collegesians that the show would have to be shut down suddenly if something happened again. After that only one thing reached the stage, which was a puki band. Which was really so puki.”
Several video of Sonu Nigam went viral on X (East Twitter) singing his hit chartbusters at the college fest. After students bouncing random objects on the stage, the singer humbly requested them to avoid such activities.
