‘One to One: John & Yoko’ is the premiere of Asia at the Red Lawry Film Festival as Grand Finale

Red Lawry Film Festival is ready to shut down its second version with Asia Premier One to one: John and YokoA documentary about the creative and personal trip of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The film directed by Kevin McDonald and Sam Rice-Aids will be the grand finale of the festival before the dramatic release worldwide on April 11, 2025.

The documentary is a main attraction One to one concertJohn Lennon’s only complete-length performance after Beatles. The characteristic of new restored and remixed concert footage, the film brings these mythological performances into life with Remastard Audio by Scene Ono Lennon. Along with the moments of the platform of electrification, the documentary also provides unprecedented access to individual archives, including unseen domestic films, phone recording, and footage behind scenes captured by Lennon and Ono.

Since its premiere at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, One to one: John and Yoko Teluride, with screening in London and Sunndans, earned significant praise.

Expressing his excitement about the film’s Asia Premier, director Kevin McDonald said, “Laana One to one: John and Yoko The Red Lawry Film Festival as a closing film is incredibly meaningful. This documentary represents the years of careful restoration and historical research. “While focusing on a special time and place, co-director Sam Rice-Advision said, we hope that the film catchs raw creative energy between two revolutionary artists.”
