Ozi Osbourne Death: Elton John, Questlov, Rod Stewart Mourning Heavy Metal Icon

The music world and beyond luminaries mourned the death of Ozi Osbourne at the age of 76, expressing affection and praise for a heavy metal icon.

Elton John said The Black Sabbath Frontman “a dear friend and a huge trailblazer” and “one of the most fun people I have ever met”. Nirvana said that Black Sabbath “was a template for heavy rock.” Rod Stewart said “he will see you there – later soon.”

Osbourne died on Tuesday (July 22, 2025) a few weeks after his farewell show. In 2020, he revealed that he had Parkinson’s disease after the fall.

Elton John wrote Instagram: “It was very sad to hear the news of @ozzyosbourne. He was a dear friend and a huge trailblazer who finished his place in the Pantian of Rock Gods – a true legend ..”

Questlov wrote Instagram, “Relaxation in peace, raga. Rod Stewart took Instagram To pay tribute to him. “I will see you there, later soon.”

American rapper flavor feet has written X“Dude, the real heart broke down when Ozi was passed by Osbourne. We go back and had a real honor to see that he joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year.”

Music composer Ronnie Wood wrote X, “I am very sad to hear about Ozi Osbourne’s death. What a cute goodbye concert he had in Birmingham initially.”

Aston Villa Football Club said in a statement that it was sad to know that world-famous Rockstar and Villain, Ozi Osbourne had passed away. “Growing in Aston, not far from Villa Park, Ozi always had a special connection with the club and the community that he came. All in the Eston Villa are everyone’s views with his wife Sharon, his family, friends and countless fans.
