Pagal Records, a music store in Hauz Khas village in Delhi is trying to revive public praise in Vinyl Records

A door filled with music -related stickers welcomes the Wanderers who discovered the Hauz Khas village in the Pagal record, which is an independent record store stocked with vintage vinyl, CDs and posters.

Above the entrance, a painted mark urges customers to fight for good music. Inside, stores, walls are adorned with shelves packed with cassette tape for sale. They capture qawwalis and bhajan to do Raj Kapoor’s hit and much more. The record crate is intercepted with a vintage band and an array of the Bollywood poster. First glance is enough for a music lover who realizes what variety in the store.

Pagal records a decade ago a Vinyl Collector, which was launched by Luka Singh, who began selling customers in the capital to his personal vinyl. He later set up the store to expand his business and re -present the music format for Delhi.

Now, the store is owned by Abhay Panwar, which calls it a “culture store” more than just a record store. “Store renewed interest in vinyl culture in the city,” says Abhay Panwar.

Pagal records are often sources of vinyl collectors who want to sell old records. Bollywood record stores are most easily achieved, while some records are obtained from countries including Italy and Japan abroad. A large part of their customers occurs regularly that spends up to 10,000 on a vinyl record and sometimes requests the team for specific records.

Although Pagal wants to promote a new generation of record music lovers, they also want customers to search for new styles and artists through vinyl.

“The number of records being sold in Post-Covid, Delhi has increased manifold,” says Abhay.
