“Pakistani actor will not let Fawad Khan happen Abir Gulal Released in India “: Film Federation after Pahalgam terror attack

New Delhi:

Favad Khan’s return Hindi film Abir Gulal has been trapped in the eyes of the storm since the release of his teaser (1 April). After the initiative terrorist attack, political tension increased, inspiring strong reactions from the film governing bodies, trying to stop the film’s release in India.

Ashok Pandit, president of the Indian Film and Television Directors Association, opposed the release of the film and said, “This incident is a war work against the nation. This is not the first time … These attacks have been going on for 30 years. We are ready to work with bulls, as a federation. Family members were shot by the terrorist, they do not work (with Fawad). “

BN Tiwari, president of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), also took a firm stand: “We will not allow Abir Gulal to be released in India. Action will be taken against the makers (if they release the film).”

On Tuesday (April 22), terrorists closed 26 tourists at the popular tourist destination in Pahgam. The function of terror reflects a dark shadow over the political and diplomatic relations of Indo-Pakistan, which affects cultural exchange.

After the teaser was released, Raj Thackeray -led Maharashtra Navnira Sena (MNS) said it would oppose Abir Gulal’s release in Maharashtra.

In a post on social media platform X, MNS Cinema Wing President Amay Khopkar said that despite several times stating that the party will not allow Pakistani actors to be released in India, some “rotten mangoes” will continue to crop.

“Mensics (MNS workers) will have to work to dump them in bin and we will continue to do so. We will not allow Abir Gulal’s release in Maharashtra. People who want to love Pakistani actor, they can do so, but they have to deal with us.”

Meanwhile, Fawad Khan has condemned the terrorist attack and has written a condolence message on his Instagram stories.

He wrote, “Hearing the news of the heinous attack in Pahalgam, he was deeply saddened. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this horrific incident and we pray for strength and treatment for their families in this difficult time.”

Directed by Aarti S. Bagdi (Chalty Rahe Zindagi), the film is produced by Indian stories, as well as a rich lens and Rajay paintings. Fawad Khan has been associated with Vanni Kapoor in the film. Abir Gulal has been slated for a dramatic release on 9 May.
