The third season of ‘Panchayat’ has been released on Amazon Prime Video after almost two years of waiting. Before getting into its story, merits and demerits, let’s take a look at its cast and creators. The story of ‘Panchayat 3’ is written by Chandan Kumar. Deepak Kumar Mishra has directed it. Raghuveer Yadav (Village Head’s husband Brij Bhushan Dubey), Neena Gupta (Village Head Manju Devi), Jatinder Kumar (Panchayat Secretary Abhishek Tripathi), Chandan Roy (Secretary Assistant Development), the story of ‘Panchayat-3’ in eight episodes. Faisal revolves around Malik (Vice-President Prahlad Pandey) and Sanvika (President’s daughter Rinki). This time Ashok Pathak (Vinod), Sunita Rajwar (Kranti Devi) and Durgesh Kumar (Bhushan) have been given good screen time.
The story goes something like this
The third season of Panchayat starts from the city. Panchayat Secretary of Phulera, Abhishek Tripathi, has been transferred and reached the city. The village head’s husband Brijbhushan Dubey, Prahlad and Vikas are worried because of the secretary’s departure. They did not allow the new secretary to join and put pressure on DM Madam to stop the transfer of Panchayat Secretary Abhishek Tripathi. Due to Brij Bhushan and Vikas’ trickery, Manju Devi is reprimanded by DM Madam and the MLAs go after her. Bhushan and Kranti Devi take advantage of this and try to overpower Pradhan. Meanwhile, the love story of Secretary ji and Rinki was also highlighted.

Amazing work
Ashok Pathak as Vinod, Sunita Rajwar as Kranti Devi and Durgesh Kumar as Bhushan have done a good job this season. All three have excellent comic timing. Neena Gupta as the village chief Manju Devi and Faisal Malik as the deputy chief have given excellent performances in this season as well as in the other two seasons.

Both of them disappointed in acting
Jitendra Kumar who plays the role of Panchayat Secretary Abhishek Tripathi is the life of this entire web series. While he made people happy in the first two seasons, he disappointed in the third season. Compared to ‘Panchayat-1’ and ‘Panchayat-2’, she looked pale in ‘Panchayat-3’. Raghuveer Yadav who played the role of the village head’s husband and Chandan Roy who played the role of Panchayat Secretary Assistant Development also failed to entertain the crowd.

Direction and story
Like ‘Panchayat-1’ and ‘Panchayat-2’, ‘Panchayat-3’ is also well directed. The entire web series has equal parts suspense, comedy and thriller. However, at some places, due to the love story of Secretary and Rinki, the web series starts to look boring. It seems that the rhythm is being broken by suddenly introducing a romantic scene between the story of politics and battles.

Climax
The first two episodes seem a bit boring, but as the story picks up pace from the third episode, the binge watch begins and then the season ends with a question.
