New Delhi: Actor Asif Khan, who shot for fame with the role of ‘Damad ji’ in the web-series panchayat, was recently in the news for health issues. Several reports initially claimed that the young actor had suffered a heart attack, but now that he is out of the hospital, the actor reacted to development.

Asif Khan told Atiems, “So I want to clarify – it was not a heart attack. It was a gastroosophageal reflux disease. Symptoms suffered a heart attack, but I am fully fit.” Doctors have advised him to undergo dietary change to avoid certain food types.
In addition, they have been asked to do more exercises, “I have been told that I have been stopped food, limit my non-vegetarian, and do more work. I don’t think it should impress my work. Something or other happens in life. Some do something in life. People move forward,” he said.

Asif Khan was born and raised in Nimbhera, which was a small town in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan, India. He is known for his role as Babur in Action Crime Thriller Web Television Series Mirzapur (2018-2020) and son-in-law in web-series Panchayat.
He appeared in Ready and Agneepath as a junior artist. Aasif made her Bollywood debut in Raj Kumar Gupta’s Most Wanted (2019).
