New Delhi: After a bitter brief results so far, it seems that things are on track to Hera Ferri 3. After a legal battle and public TIFF, both Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal confirmed that production has returned.
In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar clarified that legal conflict was not a propaganda stunt.
Akshay Kumar said, “Nahi, this is the promotional stunt nahi (no, it is not a promotional stunt). The matter became legal, and when legal things are included, we cannot call it a promotional stunt; this is a real thing.” He further said, “But now everything is crushed (everything is fine now). Very soon, some kind of announcement will come. Yes, there were some ups and downs. But now everything is resolved, and we are back together – and we are always together. Yes, that’s it!”
The team has resumed production.
Hera Feri 3 controversy:
A few months ago, Paresh Rawal left Hera Ferri 3 due to creative differences. This will be his third cooperation with Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty. The film is being played by Priyadarshan.
As soon as the news broke, the fans were disappointed to hear that the beloved character Babura Ganpato Apte cannot return to the third installment.
Allegedly, Akshay Kumar, who is producing the film under his banner Cape of Good Films, filed a lawsuit for exit against Rawal.
However, Paresh Rawal recently confirmed that he was returning to the film during an appearance on Himanshu Mehta’s podcast.
Rawal said, “It was always going to happen, but we needed to fix some things. All of them Priyadarshan, Akshay, Sunil are not only creative minds, but also friends for a long time.”
Talking about the controversy, Rawal said, “There is nothing like that. I believe that when the audience has loved something so much, it becomes our responsibility to deliver our best. You cannot take that love. Work hard and give them a good film.
Hera Feri 3
Hera Ferri 3 is directed by Priyadarshan. The first installment, Hera Pheri, was released in 2000, in which the prestigious trio-Babura Ganpato Apte (Rawal), Raju (Kumar), and Shyam (Shetty) were introduced to the audience. The second film surfaced in 2006, in which the favorite characters were repeated under the direction of Neeraj Vora.
