New Delhi: In the lead roles with Pratik Gandhi and Patilekha, the average inauguration in the much awaited biography drama ‘Phule’ has been the weekend. The film barely earned 24 million on the first day of its release, even though it dealt with sensitive topics and attracted a lot of attention before its release.
According to Sacnilk, ‘Phule’ earned a total of Rs 21 lakh at the conclusion of day 1 in India, with an initial collection of Rs 0.24 crore. Other weekends release competition, such as ‘Ground Zero’ and the current release ‘Kesari: Chapter 2’ and ‘Jat’, it seems that the film’s earnings will not be easily achieved.
‘Phule’ has been disappointing at the box office so far, but discussions about their delicate depiction of historical personalities indicate that it will probably continue to create conversation in the coming days, which may affect its success in the long run.
