‘Play Dirty’ Movie Review: Rosa Salazar Sisal in a Middleing Crime Comedy

The explosive pre-productive sequence sees a robbery in a racetrack count room which is very wrong. After a terrible migration (hoped horses were safe), Master Chor Parker (Mark Wahlberg) manages to flee with his life, while the rest of its crew is removed by Duplitius Gate Away driver Zen (Rosa Salazar).

Taking an oath to avenge his co-scientist, Phili (Thomas Jane), Parker fired Zen with the help of Groffield (Lakeith Stanfield), another career criminal, who runs a theater for no success as his day job. After many bullets and sudden deaths, Parker finds Zen, but discredits his revenge plan because Zen is doing one more work, for a lot of stakes, planning to rob a country, no less.

The film is lightly attractive but unnecessarily violent. Wahlberg struggles to invest amorel Parker with any redeemable properties, and so we do not especially invest in their plans.
