The actress, who plays Mantis in the Gunn-directed “Guardians of the Galaxy” films, has said she is in discussions with the filmmaker for a “specific character” in the DCU.
When asked if she would like to be a part of a new project in another superhero franchise, Klementieff told Agents of Fandom, “Do you really think I’d answer that question?”
He did, however, express hope to reconnect with Gunn.
“I want to continue working with James, so we’ll keep trying to find ways to do that. Yes, we’re talking about a specific character, but I can’t talk about that right now,” she said.
The actress then revealed that she would love to reprise her role from “Guardians of the Galaxy” and is sure the audience would want the same.
“It’s always been my dream to be an X-Men or be part of a Marvel movie. Then, I saw the first ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and it became my first Marvel movie. Then, I was cast in the second one. I feel very lucky. I love the character. I’m sure the fans would love to see it, but I don’t know. It depends on the project,” Klementieff said.
In addition to the three “Guardians of the Galaxy” films, Klementieff has also been a part of MCU projects such as “Avengers: Infinity War”, “Avengers: Endgame” and “Thor: Love and Thunder”.
