Mumbai: Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran’s team recently addressed rumors about his comments on the film L3: Azeril (L3).
Taking X, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s team expressed “disappointment” in the post.
“We express our disappointment in major channels to spread false news, claiming that Prithviraj Sukumaran has made statements about the L3 film. These reports are completely untrue. We all urge all media outlets to mention the official interview video from Sergemen for accurate information.”
The X post further mentioned that “misinformation has originated from a fake profile ID”.

According to regional media reports, Prithviraj mentioned that the L3 will feature ‘Underwater Action’ and the most expensive during sarzmin promotion will be the Indian film.
Sarzmen is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions by Hiru Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Adar Poonwal and Apoorva Mehta. Directed by Kayoz Irani, Prithviraj Sukumaran as Vijay Menon in the film torn between a father’s love and a soldier’s duty, Kajol-a mother-a mother as Meher who fights against all obstacles to retain her family, and holds Ibrahim Ali Khan as Harman at a spine.
Lucifer is a 2019 Malayalam action thriller film, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran at the beginning of his direction, and written by Murali Gopi. This is the first installment in the Lucifer franchise. L2: A sequel called Empuraan was released on 27 March 2025. This will be followed by another sequel called L3: Azrael.
