Priyanka Chopra recently reached Hyderabad on Thursday evening. The actress is reportedly in the city to attend a grand announcement RRR Director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film, starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role.
On Tuesday, Priyanka took to Instagram to share pictures from her visit to Chilkur Balaji temple and announced the beginning of a ‘new chapter’ in her life.
In the pictures, Priyanka Chopra is seen wearing a light blue salwar suit. He had a scarf wrapped around his head. In the pictures shared, the actress is seen talking to the Pandit and roaming inside the temple with her team.
Priyanka also thanked Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela in the caption. He wrote, “A new chapter is beginning with the blessings of Sri Balaji. May we all have peace in our hearts and prosperity and abundance all around us. God’s blessings are infinite. Thank you @upasanakaminnikonidela.”
Responding to the post, Upasana confirmed Priyanka Chopra’s new film and wished her all the best for her upcoming project. He wrote, “Best wishes to you for the immense success of your new film. May Lord Venkateshwara bless you abundantly.”
Priyanka Chopra has not yet confirmed her participation in SS Rajamouli’s film, although fans are expecting her to make an announcement soon. If true, this film will mark Priyanka’s comeback to Telugu cinema after 23 years.
She was part of P Ravi Shankar’s 2002 romantic drama AparupamHer last Hindi release was Shonali Bose’s the sky is pink In 2016.
Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu have already started shooting for the film ssmmb29Earlier, Pinkvilla had confirmed that Priyanka Chopra will play the lead role in the film.
A source told Pinkvilla, “The film is in the final stages of writing, and is all set to go on floors in April 2025.
SS Rajamouli was looking for a female lead with global presence; And who better than Priyanka to play the lead role. The filmmaker had several meetings with the PC in the last 6 months and the energy of both the stakeholders has converged.”
In terms of work, Priyanka Chopra will be sharing screen space with Idris Elba and John Cena in Ilya Naishuller’s action comedy, titled Head of State. The actress will also be seen in an action film The BluffWith Karl Urban.
