‘Pushpa 2’ a mix of emotional drama, action and swag: Rashmika Mandanna

Actress Rashmika Mandanna on Thursday announced the upcoming sequel of the 2021 Telugu blockbuster film Pushpa: Rise Apart from being full of high-octane action and swag, it is going to be an emotional drama.

The actor who stars in the sequel Pushpa 2: Rules Starring Telugu cinema star Allu Arjun in the lead role, she said that the sets of the film had been like home to her and that she felt sad after the shooting ended, but was also overwhelmed with the upcoming release of the second installation.

Pushpa 2Set to hit the screens on December 05, 2024, the film is directed by Sukumar and also stars returning stars Rashmika and Fahadh Faasil.

Rashmika, along with the film’s producer Y Ravi Shankar, was at the closing ceremony of the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa to promote the sequel. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and dignitaries from the film industry were also present on the occasion.

Rashmika said that she is fortunate to be a part of this film. “I have been in the industry for the last seven to eight years, of which I have also been on the sets Pushpa for five years. For me, Pushpa There’s a house,” she said.

“Wherever I go in the world, I always go to my home on the set. PushpaFor me, it runs subconsciously in my mind that no matter where I go in the world, I will come back home,” said the 28-year-old actor.

“It’s a little heartbreaking (that shooting is over), but at the same time, I’m in an overwhelmed state where I don’t know what to really feel. I feel sad, but at the same time I’m excited ,” the actor said.

Speaking about the sequel, he said, “You might be thinking Pushpa 2 It will be completely action-oriented cinema, but it is very emotional.” “There is a family element to it as well. So as much as you are looking forward to the swag and action, be prepared for some emotional drama as well. It’s going to be a mix of everything,” Rashmika said.
