Mumbai: The buzz around Pushpa 2: The Rule is skyrocketing as the blockbuster franchise star Allu Arjun has started promoting the film in Kerala too. The actor, who shares a special bond with the state and its people, made sure that his visit turned into a celebration. However, amid the excitement, Allu Arjun took a moment to express his heartfelt feelings about the absence of his co-star, Fahadh Faasil, fondly known as FaFa, at the event.

“For the first time in all my films, I have worked with our father, one of the best Malayalam actors. I really miss seeing him today,” Allu Arjun told the cheering Kerala crowd. The actor, known for his humility and cordiality, said, “I wish both of us were standing together in Kerala today. That would have been a prestigious thing. My brother, thank you! I wish we were here together. I wish you all the best.”

Fahadh Faasil, who played the role of the intense and mysterious SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the Pushpa franchise, has played a vital role in elevating the story of the series. His nuanced portrayal of the antagonist, coupled with his powerful screen presence, has received praise from critics and audiences.

Addressing the crowd, Allu Arjun did not hold back from praising Fahadh’s performance in Pushpa 2. “I am here to tell all Keralites, Faafa has rocked the show in Pushpa 2, and he will make every Mallu proud around the world,” he said.

Fahadh’s absence from the promotions was deeply felt, especially in Kerala, where the actor enjoys immense popularity. While Fahadh could not attend the promotional event due to prior commitments, his presence looms large in the story of Pushpa 2. Fans are especially excited to see the high-octane confrontation between Fahadh’s Bhanwar Singh and Allu Arjun’s Pushp Raj, a dynamic that promises to be one of the major attractions of the sequel.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is expected to be released in 2024, with hopes of surpassing the massive success of its predecessor, Pushpa: The Rise. Directed by Sukumar and starring an ensemble cast including Rashmika Mandanna, the film aims to cement its place as one of the biggest pan-India blockbusters of the year.
