New Delhi: Even after two weekends, Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has maintained its dominance at the box office with excellent earnings. Despite the drama surrounding the actor’s arrest, the film’s box office performance saw a significant increase on Saturday, the 10th day. Sukumar’s film is inching closer to Rs 1000 crore, having earned Rs 825 crore in India alone till Saturday night.

According to Sacnilk.com, the revenue of ‘Pushpa 2’ increased by 71% from Friday to Saturday. The Hindi version of the film was the most profitable by contributing Rs 62.3 crore. While the Telugu version earned Rs 13 crore, the Hindi version earned Rs 46 crore at the box office.
The film grossed Rs 195 crore from external markets, taking its total profit to Rs 1106 crore, making it the sixth Indian film to achieve this feat.
According to reports, ‘Pushpa 2’, thanks to its incredible success, will soon earn more than the two highest-grossing Indian films Jawan (Rs 1148 crore) and KGF Chapter 2 (Rs 1208 crore). Given that there are no major new releases competing with the film in India, industry analysts are predicting a record-breaking second weekend for the film.
Nevertheless, the film’s international profits began to decline, with daily earnings falling below $1 million after the 5th day. This decline could affect Pushpa 2’s chances of overtaking Dangal and Baahubali 2, the two highest-grossing films of all time, which have earned huge sums. Over Rs 1500 million globally.
About ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, directed by Sukumar, is the much-awaited follow-up to the 2021 smash hit ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil reprized their roles from the last film. While Allu Arjun reprises his role as notorious criminal Pushp Raj. After the worldwide success of Pushpa, which grossed over Rs 340 crore, Allu Arjun’s status as a pan-India celebrity has been further strengthened by the success of ‘Pushpa 2’.
Notably, the film’s box office success has not been affected by the continuing legal troubles associated with Allu Arjun’s role in the stampede at the Hyderabad premiere of ‘Pushpa 2’. The incident resulted in the actor’s arrest in connection with the death of a fan.
