Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2 is here to break all the box office records one after the other. The second installment of the bumper hit Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 earned Rs 64.10 crore across all languages in India on its fifth day of release, taking the global tally to Rs 880 crore. Despite a non-holiday release, Pushpa 2 grossed Rs 46 crore in Hindi on its first Monday. The film managed to earn Rs 14 crore in Telugu, Rs 3 crore in Tamil, Rs 0.5 crore in Kannada and Rs 0.6 crore in Malayalam. according to SacnilkThe film (Hindi version) saw a significant jump in viewership on the first working day of the week. The afternoon show had 71.48% occupancy, with 41.36% occupancy.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that Pushpa 2 became the fastest film to enter the Rs 300 crore club within 5 days of release. The film beat Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (Day 6) and Pathan (Day 7) and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal (Day 7) with its stellar box office numbers. Here are the details of the details:

Pushpa 2 received mixed reviews from critics, but garnered decent numbers. In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote, “The same violence is repeated in the climax. Pushpa once again assumes the guise of Kali. A wedding is held hurriedly after and to signal the end of the hostilities , Pushpa Part 2 points towards Part 3. The final chapter of the trilogy will be titled Pushpa: The Rampage as if there isn’t enough already.”
Pushpa 2 – The Rule – is written and directed by Sukumar. It is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. It is done by Ravi Shankar.
