Producer of Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s film Pushpa 2has confirmed that the shooting of the film has resumed. Speaking to X, the team shared that “a spectacular action episode” is currently being shot for the climax of the film.
This comes just days after an alleged feud between the actor and director, although sources close to the team have rubbished those claims as mere rumours. The rumours reportedly led to a delay in the shooting, leaving fans of the actor worried whether the film would release on the release date he had earlier confirmed.
With the recent post, the makers also confirmed that the film is set to release worldwide on December 6 as announced earlier.
The current release date has already been revised as the makers had earlier stated that the sequel would release on August 15. Amid rumours that the film’s release might be pushed to 2025, the makers confirming the release date comes as a relief for fans of the franchise.
Pushpa 2: Rules It is the sequel to Arjun Pushpa 1: RiseWhich turned out to be a huge blockbuster in the country after its release in December 2021.
It also stars Rashmika Mandanna. Pushpa: The Rise The film depicts the rise of a low-paid laborer (Arjun) in a red sandalwood smuggling gang. Red sandalwood is a rare wood that grows only in the Seshachalam Hills of the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The first part featured a clash between Arjun’s lead character and Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil’s dangerous Inspector Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
