New Delhi: Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan recently revealed that he experienced a full blackout after being drunk in his 60th birthday bash, which he celebrated on 14 March.
In the latest episode of Bombay Journey for Mashable India, Aamir shared that the party was organized by his daughter Ira Khan and ex -wife Reena Dutta, who invited all his loved ones and well -wishers. Although Aamir has almost completely quit drinking alcohol, he gave the request of his friends and that evening there were some drinks that hit him unexpectedly.
He said, “Dude, Bohot became interesting. Ira, Reena, everyone organized a birthday party on my 60th.
Although it was a special day, Aamir confessed that he does not have most of its memory due to “clean blackout”. He mentioned that there are pictures and videos from the evening where people have said good things about him, but they do not remember any of it.
Why did Aamir Khan stop drinking alcohol
Earlier, Aamir had revealed that he gave up alcohol as he lacked control while drinking alcohol. However, he admitted that he still smokes a pipe. In a clear conversation with actor Nana Patekar, Aamir opened his biggest personal struggle – lack of his discipline. While he maintains strong discipline in his professional life, especially with films, he described himself as “extremist” in other areas.
“I smoke a pipe. Now I have drunk alcohol, but at one point, I used to drink. And when I drank, I drank all night,” he said.
On the work front, Aamir Khan is ready for the release of his much awaited film Sitare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna. The film is a remake of the Spanish film Campon and is slapped to hit theaters on 20 June.
