Radhika Merchant stuns in a stunning real gold embroidered farewell lehenga

Mumbai: Radhika Merchant, who tied the knot with Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Friday, once again mesmerized everyone with her stunning style and grace during her farewell ceremony.

The newlyweds had earlier worn a traditional red and white lehenga designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla at her wedding but for the emotional vidaai ceremony, she wore a stunning sindoori red outfit designed by Manish Malhotra.

Radhika’s farewell look, styled by Rhea Kapoor, included a custom-made lehenga adorned with intricate detailing and rich fabrics.

The outfit included a backless blouse adorned with real gold karchobi work, reminiscent of traditional Gujarati artistry. The brocade silk lehenga skirt adorned with Banarasi brocade print in sunset hues, reflected timeless elegance and cultural homage.

Completing her look, Radhika draped a Banarasi silk dupatta with real gold embroidery and silk work over her shoulders, and paired it with a veil that flowed into a dramatic train.

The entire look was carefully crafted with the expertise of saree draping expert Dolly Jain, while Hiral Bhatia and Loveleen Ramchandani ensured that Radhika’s makeup and hairstyle were flawless.

Radhika’s jewellery is a reflection of her family’s legacy, which includes heirlooms passed down through generations.

Adorned in gold, diamonds and emeralds, her outfit included a choker, necklace, polki earrings, armlets, kadas, bangles, hath phool, rings and maang tika, each of the ornaments adding to the grandeur of her look.

Radhika and Anant Ambani’s wedding, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, was a grand affair attended by international celebrities and dignitaries from various fields.

Radhika’s outfit choices throughout the celebrations have consistently celebrated Gujarati traditions with a blend of contemporary fashion sensibilities.

The celebrations will continue with ‘Shubh Ashirwad’ on July 13 and ‘Mangala Utsav’ i.e. wedding ceremony on July 14.
