New Delhi: Gorgeous bride Radhika Merchant on Friday gave a glimpse of her wedding in a stunning lehenga by designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
Stylist Rhea Kapoor shared pictures of Radhika as a bride on Instagram. 29-year-old Radhika opted for a heavily embroidered ivory outfit with red and gold accents and accessorised her look with beautiful jewellery.
Riya elaborated that her outfit was a traditional take on ‘Panetar’, a Gujarati tradition in which brides wear red and white outfits.
The designer said the outfit consisted of a hanging skirt, a second detachable veil, a 5-metre-long head veil and a tissue dupatta draped over the shoulder.
“The ghagra shines with three borders of red, its workmanship a fine blend of nakshi, saadi and zardozi, symmetrically hand-embroidered in intricate floral butis, lavishly embellished with stones, sequins, copper tikkis and touches of red silk. The head veil features impossibly delicate jaali and cut-work, while the detachable scar is an 80-inch zardozi marvel,” said Riya.
The outfit is completed with a fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta that elevates the look with maximum drama.

Radhika and Anant Ambani’s wedding celebration took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Their ‘Shubh Vivaah’ will be followed by ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13 and ‘Mangala Utsav’ on July 14.
