Mumbai: The teaser of the upcoming comedy-drama Rahu Ketu has finally been released by the makers on social media.
The intriguing teaser offers a vibrant first look at the film’s fresh concept and dynamic characters. Filled with charming visuals and an engaging premise, it sets the stage for a story where destiny goes off the rails in ridiculous ways. Sharing the teaser on Instagram, the makers wrote, “Get ready for the New Year as your condition and direction will change when Rahu Ketu comes to life! Get ready with your gang to dive straight into cosmic chaos! #Rahuketu teaser out now. In theaters on 16th January 2026.”
The teaser begins with a mysterious, almost supernatural avatar of Piyush Mishra – a man who understands “Dasha” and “Disha” much more than usual. After an unexpected encounter with them, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma find themselves transformed into the present day versions of Rahu and Ketu. What happens next is a whirlwind of cosmic confusion, astrological quirks and pure comedy.

After writing the Fukrey films, working with Varun and Pulkit again – this time as a director – felt both familiar and thrilling. Making Rahu Ketu my directorial debut has been nothing short of magical.”
Rahu Ketu revolves around the madness of everyday life and reunites Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma after their hit pairing in the Fukrey series. The cast also includes Shalini Pandey, Piyush Mishra, Chunky Pandey, Amit Sial and Manurishi Chadha.
Backed by Zee Studios and BLive Productions, the film will release in theaters on January 16, 2026.
