The captivating music of ‘Rajadhiraj: Prem’. life. ‘Leela.’, a mega-musical bringing to life the timeless tales of Shri Krishna, is now streaming on all major music platforms across the world. Conceived by visionary Dhanraj Nathwani, the theatrical production has music composed by renowned duo Sachin-Jigar, and lyrics written by renowned lyricist and Padma Shri awardee, Prasoon Joshi.
The soundtrack comprises 20 original compositions, each capturing the essence of Shri Krishna’s journey – highlighting the unconditional bond between mother and son, the divine love of Radha and Krishna and the playful mischiefs of Balagopal. These songs, which enthralled the audience during the live performance, are now available to a global audience.
an emotional musical journey
Speaking on the release, Dhanraj Nathwani shared, “Music has the power to transcend boundaries and touch hearts. The songs of ‘Rajadhiraj’ have already been loved by the audiences in Delhi and Mumbai and now, through the streaming platform, we aim to bring this soul-stirring music to even more people.”

Initially, 11 out of 20 tracks are being released, with the rest scheduled to be released soon. Each composition weaves a rich blend of Western symphonic sounds from Budapest and Indian classical traditions, including genres such as Haveli Sangeet, Rajasthani and Gujarati folk, Raas Garba and Hindustani semi-classical music.
a stellar collaboration
Renowned singers Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kailash Kher, Jonita Gandhi and others have lent their voices to these tracks, adding to the emotional depth of the compositions. To further enrich the music, Sachin-Jigar incorporated local Indian instruments such as tabla, dholak and shehnai, reflecting India’s diverse musical heritage.

Reflecting on their creative process, Sachin-Jigar said, “This project was both challenging and rewarding. We wanted to bring to life the Krishna we grew up with for today’s audience. The blend of Western orchestral music with Indian traditional sounds allowed us to create something truly unique and heartfelt.

After stellar performances at Mumbai’s Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) and Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Auditorium, ‘Rajadhiraj: Love’. life. Leela.’ It will premiere in Dubai in 2025. Created by Bhoomi Nathwani, this musical combines rich storytelling, stunning visuals and live music to create an immersive cultural experience.
This first-of-its-kind mega-musical celebrates the art, culture and timeless wisdom of the life of Shri Krishna, uniting generations under one roof. Its captivating music and performances are leaving a lasting impression on audiences across the world.
