Mumbai: Author SS Rajamouli has praised the cast of latest release ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, saying the film “transported me to different zones with its incredible settings”.
Rajamouli shared a poster of Prabhas’ film on Instagram Stories, which was released on Thursday. In the caption, he wrote: “The world of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is beautifully created… It transported me to different worlds with its incredible setting.”
Talking about Prabhas, he said: “Darling rocks with his timing and spontaneity…” Rajamouli also praised megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone for their performances in the film. “Great support from Amitabh Bachchan ji, Kamal sir and Deepika,” he wrote.
It was the climax that stunned Rajamouli, who also praised ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ director Nag Ashwin. He wrote, “The last 30 minutes of the film took me to a completely new world. Congratulations to Nagi and the entire Vaijayanti team and salute their unmatched efforts in executing this.”
Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is inspired by Hindu scriptures and its story is based on the world after 2898 AD.
Talking about work, Rajamouli’s last directorial venture ‘RRR’ starring NTR Jr and Ram Charan in the lead roles turned out to be a blockbuster.
