Mumbai: The feud between Bigg Boss 18 winners Karanvir Mehra and Rajat Dalal has reached new heights, with the tension spilling over on social media. After Karanvir’s win, he took to Instagram to call out Rajat Dalal’s fans for their disrespectful behavior towards him and his loved ones.
In a furious post on his Instagram stories, Karanvir has faced trolling, hatred and personal attacks since his win. He termed Rajat Dalal’s fans as a “faceless and baseless army” and accused them of crossing all limits of decency.
Karanvir wrote, “To all the trollers, haters, age and body shamers, sycophants, careless baseless broker bunch – who call themselves Army! You have crossed all limits of humanity and humiliated me and my family just for giving my opinion (when asked).
He criticized her for spewing hatred on her social media posts and accused her of misusing democracy in the name of freedom of expression. Not holding back, Karanvir said, “You are not a fan; You are a goon. Khareiye paltu ho (you have been bought and tamed) who has no social status. The public has lost the trophy by taking the trophy.”
The post ended with hashtags like #thokotataali and #dabangdhawan, highlighting his victory over the backlash.
Rajat Dalal, who was among the finalists and a favorite among some fan groups, did not remain silent. In response to Karanvir’s allegations, Rajat shared a video addressing the issue and issued a veiled warning. Referring to Karanvir’s public comments, he said, “There could be trouble. “Khayal Rakho Apna (Trouble may happen. Take care of yourself).”
Although Rajat did not clearly explain what he meant, the statement was seen by many as a threat, leading to further controversy.
The enmity between Karanvir and Rajat’s fanbase has intensified after the finale of Bigg Boss 18. While Karanvir’s supporters celebrated his victory, Rajat’s fans flooded social media with hate comments, making the atmosphere toxic. Karanvir’s Instagram post was a direct response to this trolling.
