New Delhi: Rajkummar Rao has proved himself to be one of the most powerful actors in Bollywood with his latest release ‘Srikant’ which has managed to keep the audiences captivated and entertained. The film which has almost crossed the Rs 45 crore mark at the box office is certainly a hit at the ticket counters. Rao has proved his versatility by playing the role of a blind industrialist who turns theatres into stadiums. While Rao is enjoying the success of ‘Srikant’, he is also gearing up for the release of his next film ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’.
May is definitely going to be Rao’s month. In ‘Srikanth’, Rajkummar Rao played the role of Srikanth Bola, while in ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’, he will be seen in the light-hearted role of Mahendra Mahi. From playing a challenging role in ‘Srikanth’ to transforming into ‘Mahendra Mahi’, Rao has proven his mettle as an actor and has impressed the audience quite a bit. With two films releasing in May, a few more films coming to theatres later this year and several projects in the shooting stage, Rao has proven to be the busiest actor of this season!
The actor’s ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ is set to hit the theatres on May 31. He will reprise his role of ‘Vicky’ in the horror comedy ‘Stree 2’. The actor will also be seen in ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ alongside Tripti Dimri, which is set to release later this year.
