New Delhi: Bollywood’s talented stars Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are all set to work in ‘Stree 2’ and discussions about the film are in full swing. The stars released a new poster of the film and informed that the trailer of ‘Stree 2’ will be released in just two days. The teaser of the film was well received by the people, but the trailer releasing on July 18 is expected to reveal a lot more about the story of the film and Rajkumar Rao’s role in it.
Stree 2 is scheduled to release in theatres on August 15. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree featured Rajkummar Rao, Flora Saini, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee in lead roles.
Its plot is based on the Karnataka urban legend Nale Ba (“Come tomorrow”).
The film ‘Stree’ released in 2018 is considered one of the best horror-comedy films of Hindi cinema, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
The release date of the film has been changed to August 15 after the makers of the upcoming box-office hit ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ decided to postpone its release to December 6.
Earlier this year, Rajkummar Rao was seen in two films – ‘Shrikant’ and ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’. While ‘Shrikant’ and ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’ performed well and ended Bollywood’s box office drought, ‘Stree 2’ has also lived up to expectations.
Apart from ‘Stree 2’, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in ‘Vicky-Vicky Ka Woh Wala Video’.
