Mumbai: Actress Sara Ali Khan on Monday shared heartwarming pictures with her brothers and family on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Sara shared a few pictures from her father Saif Ali Khan’s house on Instagram. She has 45.7 million followers on Instagram.
In the first picture, Sara is seen performing aarti for her younger brother Ibrahim. She is wearing a bright yellow suit and is lovingly tying a rakhi on Ibrahim’s wrist.
Ibrahim looks dapper in a white shirt and black denim jeans.
In another picture, Sara is seen tying a rakhi to her stepbrother Jeh. The little ray of joy is dressed in a blue kurta and white pyjama and is sitting on her mother Kareena Kapoor Khan’s lap.
Then there is a family photo, in which we can see Sara and Ibrahim posing with their father Saif and aunt and actress Soha Ali Khan. In the photo, Kareena is wearing a bright pink ethnic suit.
“Happy Rakshabandhan,” Sara captioned the post.
In the Stories section, Sara wrote, “Missed Tim, Inni and Saba Pataudi… but we tied Rakhi to each other.”
Talking about personal life, Saif is the son of former Indian national cricket team captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore. He has two younger sisters, designer Saba Ali Khan and Soha.
His first marriage was with actress Amrita Singh. The couple has two children – actress Sara and son Ibrahim. They separated in 2004.
Saif married Kareena in a private ceremony in Bandra, Mumbai on October 16, 2012. The couple has two sons – Taimur and Jeh.
Talking about work, Sara made her acting debut in 2018 with Abhishek Kapoor’s romantic inter-faith love story ‘Kedarnath’ opposite late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
He then acted in the action film ‘Simmba’, directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Rohit Shetty Pictures, Reliance Entertainment and Dharma Productions. The film featured Ranveer Singh, Sonu Sood and Ajay Devgan reprising their role of ‘Singham’ in cameo roles.
Sara has also been a part of films like ‘Love Aaj Kal’, ‘Coolie No. 1’, ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Gaslight’, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ and ‘Murder Mubarak’.
She was last seen as Usha Mehta in the historical biographical film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, which revolves around India’s freedom struggle in 1942. It is written and directed by Kannan Iyer and produced by Karan Johar, also starring Alex O’Neill and Emraan Hashmi. The film is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
After this, Sara has films like ‘Metro…In Dino’, ‘Sky Force’ and ‘Eagle’.
